Zulay Henao is a Colombian American actor best known for her role as Esperanza in her role in the Oprah Winfrey Network drama 'If Loving You Isn't Right'. Her other credits include acting in several films such as 'Illegal Tender', 'Takers as well as "Boy Wonder" and "True The Memoirs Of An International Assassin'. In the early years of her life, when she was only four years old her family, along with her were relocated away from Medellin in Antioquia to the USA. Henao, after finishing high school, enlisted for three years in the U.S. Army and went to Methodist College in Fort Bragg (North Carolina) during her time of duty. She studied acting in the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and also worked a variety of in odd jobs before launching her acting career. In terms of her personal life, the gorgeous and gifted actress is dating American model Joel Rush. Previously, she was engaged to the actor Terrace Howard. Henao considers her family her primary concern.
